Following an intriguing story from January, today I delve into the marriage and lives of Miss Tilney-Long, the amiable heiress, and Mr William Wellesley-Pole, her suitor (the one who tried to fight a duel with Lord Kilworth).
What happened? Did they marry? What was the dress like? Did they live happily ever after?

This week I’ve been thinking about weddings, naturally, and wondering what kind of wedding my main characters from My Earl, the Spy would have. I just can’t see Melissa enjoying the fuss and botheration which Catherine Tilney-Long clearly enjoyed.
On the other hand, Kerenza from The Baboon at the Ball would LOVE it!
My own preference was for a small wedding and a cocktail reception…what about you?
